Another Italian Loss

DESTROYER SUNK BY NAVAL AIRCRAFT DAVENTRY, 1 a.m. The Admiralty announces the sinking of an Italian destroyer of the Pantera class, of 1526 tons, near Massawa, on the Red Sea. Reconnaissance planes reported that it had left Massawa, and it was attacked and sunk by naval aircraft. The Admiralty also announces that a German merchantman of 4188 tons, which was endeavouring to escape from Massawa, was intercepted hy H.M.S. Kandahar.
