“ Bathroom ” Party

POR BRIDE-TO-BE A happy * ‘ bathroom’ ’ evening ivas tendered Miss Connie Vautier, on the eve of her approaching marriage, by ihe Arts and Crafts Circle of the Whakarongo W.I. on Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Urhbora. The party Avas run by Mrs. Meyer, convener of the circle, and the time passed with items and competitions. The winners of the competitions were Mrs. Eagle and Miss Vautier. Solos were rendered by Miss H. Wood and Mrs. Frith, the latter also giving elocutionary items. Before supper was served Miss Vautier Avas called upon to open the many useful gifts her friends brought, after which she suitably replied.
