Feilding Hockey Association

ANNUAL MEETING HELD At tlie annual meeting of tho Feild- j ing Hockey Association on Tuesday evening Air. E. A. Garlick presided. The annual report disclosed a very satisfactory financial position, there being a credit balance of £6.1 in addition i to assets conservatively valued at £7O. j The meeting decided to defer for further consideration a proposal from the Alanawatu Association that the two associations should combine to counter the falling-off in membership. Air. S. Chesterfield (secretary) recalled that during tho Great War hockey was dropped altogether. It was agreed to recommend that the first Monday in June be officially recognised as tho King’s Birthday. Officers were elected as follow: —Patron, Mr. R. J. Harper; president, Mr. A. Hendry; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Tricklebank, L. Trass and P. G. Guy; honorary treasurer, Mr. Trass; honorary secretary, Air. S. Chesterfield. Other officers ars. .t.o. be. elected later.
