School Environment
CERTIFICATES ENDORSED BY EDUCATION BOARD Appreciation was expressed at yes terday’s meeting oil the Wanganui Education Board, at the way school committees, tetichers and pupils looked after the surroundings of their schools. Environment certificates issued previously were endorsed in the case of the following schools in the eastern section of the board’s district: Ashhurst, Awahou North, Beacousfield, Bulls, Bunnytliorpe, Cheltenham. Central, College Street, Dunolly, Fitzherbert East, Gleu Oroua, Hokowhitu, Hunterville, Kniranga. Ivakariki, lviwitea, Kopane, Linton, Longburn, Lytton Street, Manchester Street, Mangaweka, Marton District High, Marton Junction, Milsoc, Ohakea, Ohingaiti, Oroua, Downs, Parewanui, Pohangina, Eangiwahia, Kauroai, Eewa, Eongotea, Euahine, Eussell Street, Sanson, Taikorea, Taonui, Terrace End, Tokorangi, Umutoi, Utuwrai, Waitohi, Waituna West, West End. the accelerator having jambed. The jury, after retiring for three hours and 15 minutes, acquitted accused, as stated.
