MANGAMUTU SECTION FORMED Fourteen further enrolments for tfc* Pahiatua district Home Guard were received at Mangamutu on Tuesday evening as a result of the final of a scric* of special organising meetings through out the district. Mr. J. G. Brechin presided over a fair attendance which wa# addressed by Mr. M. R. Lawson, chairman of the Pahiatua Home Guard Commfttec.

When the enrolments had been take* Mr. D. D. Twomey was recommended for appointment as section commanderThe total strength of the Home Guard in tho district is now 5G7 men.
