iFrom Our Own Correspondent.* Personal Mrs. L. F. Homes is spending a few duys at Fiifiimerton. Hhe was motored there on {Saturday by her mother and Miss ti. Wulkor. Mr. L. c. Jackson, who has been associated with the staff of the WanganuiKangitikei Electric Power Board ior 14 years, some live years of which have been spent in Bulls, has received au appointment with the Houthern Hawkes’ Bay Bourd, to be stationed at Waipukurau. Mr. Juckson has taken a live interest in the Bulls football and athletic clubs, while Mrs. Jackson as president of the Bulls institute has taken a full share in the life of the community. These bodies are arranging a suitable farewell in Bulls shortly. Miss Kendrick, of Palmerston North, has taken up duties on the staff of the Bulls District High School, the roll of which has shown an increase of some 40 over lust year.
Mr. Raymond Smith is holidaying at Tokaanu where lie is indulging in trout Ashing.
Friends of Mr. ,T. Campion will be glad to learn that he lias improved sufficiently to return home from hospital in Palmerston North.
Miss M. Webber has returned after spending a few weeks with friends in Jan nevirke.
Mrs. T. Rogers, of Parewanui, is pro grossing favourably after undergoing t major operation in Wanganui recently Mr. Tar Richardson, who is an inmate °f fhe Wanganui Hospital expects to be able to return home within a fortnight having shown much improvement.
