New South Wales Drought Broken
ONE OF LONGEST IN STATE S HISTORY SYDNEY, Jan. 5. For the lirst time in five years soaking rains have fallen almost throughout the entire State, and there is every indication that one of the longest droughts in New South Wales history has broken. Total intake into Sydney's supply dams last night had amounted to just over 900,000,000 gallons—about 10 days* consumption with present restrictions.
