Smith were among those who left to undergo three months’ Territorial training at WaioiMrs. M. H. Whiteman, of No. 2 Line, Fox ton, has as her guest her sister, Miss i. Archer, of Palmerston North. Alls 1. llart, of Park Street, is holidaying in Auckland. Miss I. {Smith, of Avenue lioad, is on a holiday visit to Palmerston North. stokers H. Smith. and W. Alyward, of H.AL.S. Achilles, will spend their leave with Mr. and Mrs. P. Procter, of Purcell Street. Mr. A. U. Williams, eldest son of Airs. L. Williams, of Union Street, who has been residing in Dunedin for the past four years, enters the military cuuip at Burnham. Air. John Kiclics, youuger son of ALr. and Airs. J. P. Pic bus, of. Tliynno Street, who volunteered for active service last year, enters camp at Papakuru. As a result of a wheel snapping oil the press during hay-making operations at Tokomaru over the week-end, Air. hi. Healey, jnr., of Pox ton, sustained a painful injury when the wheel struck him on the leg. lie will be conlined to his bed for some weeks. Mr. P. It.
