Eden Discusses Far East Problems
CHINESE AMBASSADOR’S WARNING Received Friday, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 2. Mr. Anthony Eden discussed Far East problems with Mr. Quo Taichi (Chinese Ambassador) who, it is understood, called Mr. Eden's attention to reported heavy Japanese troop concentartions in Kwantung which could be employed for an attack against Hongkong timed to synchronise with the German offensive in Europe.
