HUNTING CAT SURPRISED SPRINT TO HUNTING BLOOD Per Prss* Association. H ASTINGS, Jan. 2. The Hawke’s Bay summer meeting concluded in glorious weather before a large attendance. The track was hard and fast and the totalisator handled £12,845, compared with £11,278 10s last year. The total for the meeting was £26,802 10s, compared with £23,864 10s last year, the increase being £2938. Results are:— JANUARY HANDICAP, £100; 6 furlongs. 1-1 HUGME, car. 8.0 (J.
