For the swank Club Ferdinand, reppresenting cafe society, Dreyer arranged for the Leon Taz South American Tango band. A Negro jive band of twelve pieces for the Palais Royal uight dive where Maureen O’Hara, Lucille Ball, Mary Carlisle and five other “chorines” tap, hula and high kick to the cacopronous rhythm of “Beer Barrel Polka”—and a mixed orchestra of twenty-five ’neecs for the Bailey Bros, show —complete tin* musical ensemble.
