PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Palmerston North City Council held on Monday, ] the 16th day- of December, 1940, a I Resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special meeting of the Council held on Thursday, the 16th day of January, 1941. at 10.15 a.m. at the Council Chambers, The Square, Palmerston North. The purport of such Resolution was: In exercise of its powers under Section 162 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933/* the Council resolves by way of Special Order that it accept a surrender of the leasehold interests of John Osborne Boniface and Walter Amos Boniface, both of Palmerston North, Bakers, as Lessees under a certain Memorandum of Lease Registered Number 19538 in and to 1 acre more or less being part Section 1536 Palmerston North being Lot 13 on Deposited Plan 2494, upon condition: (1) That such surrender shall take effect from the 17th day of January, 1941. (2) The said Lessees and the Council shall execute and the Lessees shall accept a new lease for the remainder of the term of the surrendered lease on the same ’ ternls and conditions at £5 os Od per annum but of 2 roods being part of the said Lot 13 bounded as follows: Commencing at Fitzherbert Avenue thence 250 links along the boundary between the said Lot 13 and Lot. 14, thence in a straight line parallel to Fitzherbert Avenue to the-North-Western boundary of Lot 13, thence 250 links to Fitzherbert Avenue along the said NorthWestern boundary, and thence along Fitzherbert Avenue to the point of commencement.
