FAIRY PUDDING Two cups water, one cup sugar, two tablespoons cornflour, two eggs, one teaspoon essence of lemon. Boil water, sugar and cornflour for five minutes. Take off the fire and add the stiffly beaten whites of two eggs. Pour into a damp mould to set. Make a boiled custard with the yolks of eggs. This pudding can be served with any stewed fruit.
