CHRISTMAS PERIOD POSTINGS Christmas period postings at. the Feilding Post Office, taken overall, were hardly up to those of the previous year. The figures for the week ended December 24 with those l'oi the corresponding period last year, given iu parentheses, were:—lnward: Aiuil bugs, 361 (398); parcel bags, 110 (112). Outward: Mail bags, 338 (339); parcel bags, 33 (27). Ou the statistics supplied it will be no ticed that (he only increase was on account of outward pared bags which increased by six.
