Anzacs Reported to be In the Thick of the Fight

LONDON, Dec. 15. According to Rome messages reports from Benghazi, Libya, state that thousands of French, New Zealand and Aus tralian troops joined in the fighting at Fort Capuzzo and Bardia, just within the Libyan border, as the British attacks continued unabated apparently driving towards Tobruk. An earlier announcement from Cairo said that Australian, and New Zealand troops did not take a prominent part in the initial advance in the Western Desert. The only Anzac troops who participated in the offensive up to that time were transport and signal x>er3onnel.
