One of the most successful dances held by the Palmerston North Lawn Tennis Club took place in the Linton Street pavilion on Saturday evening. There was a very large attendance and the programme was informal, flannels and short frocks being the dress chose.) by the majority. Mr. J. Cope was responsible for the organisation, which was carried out most efficiently with tho assistance of Messrs. S. aud W. Hooper.
