Refugees Perish In Ship Disaster

ISTANBUL, Dec. 13. A Uruguayan ship carrying 3SO Jewish refugees, including many children, to Palestine from Bulgaria broke up in a storm near Istanbul, aud the refugees were thrown into the sea. They hud no chance of reaching the lifeboats. The captain swam ashore and summoned rescue crows. One hundred and eighty refugees were saved, but most of the children were drowned.
