Army All Blacks Beat Aldershot
Tindill’s Brilliant Try OUTPLAYED IN FIRST lIALI United Press Association—-By JCloctrlO Telegraph—Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 15. The New Zealand Army Rugby team beat the Aldershot Command B—U. The Sunday Times says the New Zealanders had much the worse of the first half. Then an all-round improvement brought victory. The All Blacks were clearly outplayed fiehind the scrum in the first half and only the fearless tackling of the backs prevented Aidershot scoring. Bonner got over wide out for the New Zealanders just before the interval for a try which was quite against tiie run of play. The New Zealanders then showed real form, putting Aldershot on the defensive for long periods. Tindiil, the scrum half, scored a magnificent try*, darting from the scrum and running hard and straight after selling a “dummy.” A clever hand-off carried him over when tackled a yard from the line. Peterson made no mistake with the kick.
