Four Woodvilie Parties

CHILDREN ’S DAY ON SATURDAY Four children’s parties were held in Woodvilie aud district on .Saturday afternoon so that although adult (sportsmen were deprived of their outings the children were well catered for. Owing to the inclemency of the weather the balvation Army picxuc which was to have been held at Papatawa was diverted to the Drill Hail where a happy time was spent playing games. in the W.L Hall the Women’s Institute held its annual children’s party. At a suitable interlude Father Chgstmas arrived and presents were distributed among the children. Aliss Irene Oliver also held her annual children's afternoon on Saturday in tfie Parish Hall. The Ngapawarua Hall was also tho scene of festivities for the local W.L also held its annual children’s party which was a great success.
