Cyril King, Fitrherbert Avenue, is visiting Taupo with Mr. and Mrs. Bex McKelvie, Rongotea, Misses June Scott and Josephine Christian, of Palmerston North, were the guests of the Inter-House Sports Association in Napier, having been invited to judge the costumes in competitions held on Saturday. A meeting of the Takaro Ladies 7 Bowling Club was held on Thursday, when the following officers were elected: Chairman, Mrs. Dixon; secretary, Mrs. Farrar; committee, Mesdames Field, Terry, Davidson, Perrin and Bovis. Thursday was decided by members as the best club d»y. It was de-1 cided to run a pairs tournament this month, a trophy having been donated for this tournament.
