Feilding Golf Club

Members of the Feilding Golf Club took part in a four-ball bogey scramble, on Saturday afternoon in ideal weather conditions. The winning card was that of M. K..Waldin and R. Richardson, 7 up. The next. best, card was that of D. •T. Hay and G. C. Ewen, 6 up, followed by T. C. Collins and S. M. Marsden, 5 up. B. Beattie and G. Lintott camo home 2 up. The finalists in the senior championship are C. B. Thomas and V. J. Stichhury and the game is set down to- bo played on November 3. J. Stewart, defeated V. J. Btichbur? in the final for the Brown Cup, while BticTfbury defeated B. Beattie in the final of the president’s knock-out competition. The semi-finalists in the intermediate championsihip arc: Donaldson v. Rosoman and Bray v. Blundell. In the Hegarty Memorial competition the semi-finalists are: W. H. Smith v. A. C. McCorkindale and P. Whiteman v. R. H. Farquharson. The junior championship semi-final-ists arc: L. W, Ponhey v. W. Brube and D. J. Hay v. H. Mayer. G. Pearson is to play G. C. Ewen in the final for the Gonville Saunders Cup. Players intending to take part in the Ladies’ v. Men’s match on Saturday next are requested to hand in their names to the secretary.
