Dairy Meeting
At a short meeting of the Dairy Committee of the Southern Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Union recently, presided over by Mr. G. Cammock, the subject of the guaranteed price was referred to Mr. E. Harding, who stated that as the delegate to the dairy conference to be held in Wellington on October 16 he would like to meet the representatives of all the dairy companies in Southern Hawke’s Bay, together with prominent dairy farmers, to discuss with them the economic report upon the guaranteed price, which would be available shortly, j By obtaining the views of the dairy ' farmers in this district he would be j able to take to the conference in Wei- | lington any representations they might desire to put forward. It was decided to hold a special meeting of dairy fac- j tory representatives and dairy farmers lon October 10, commencing at 1 p.m. |
