U.S. Fleet to Stay in Pacific
(Received 27, 2.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 26.
The American Secretary of State, Mr Hull, said to-day that the basing of the United States Fleet at Hawaii remained a fundamental American policy. The Federal Housing Authority announced to-day that it was studying the practicability of embodying some form of air-raid shelter in low-rent housing schemes.
