An officially-ihspired description of the German array training for the Invasion of Britain claims that hundreds of specialists are distributed among units along the Continental coast. They were trained on drill grounds aorth-westward of Berlin immediately ifter the French capitulation, and were »elected from all branches of the Services on the basis of a questionaire Jn which the 63 questions asked covered athletic prowess, knowledge of lanjuages, technical skill, and acquaintance with British geography and affairs. Unmarried men under the age of 23 were preferred. Ten thousand men, says this report, aave been trained to use water skis :onstructd of cork, on which it is posable to skate across water at a rate ’it five miles an hour.
