Miss Dorothy Turner is visiting Palmerston North and Rangiotu and returns to Wanganui on Friday.

Airs. C. B. C. Evans, West Street Feilding, has staying with her her sis ter, Aliss Coleman, of Amberley Christchurch.

Airs. H. Atmore, hon. organiser of the Women’s War Service Auxiliary, who has been visiting Palmerston North for the purpose of setting up a district committee, returned to Wellington yesterday.

An organisation represented at the meeting to form a committee for the Women's War Service Auxiliary on Tuesday evening and missed from the report was the Alanawatu Co-operative Women’s Guild, Airs. S. Alason being the delegate.

Miss Joan Patterson has resigned her position as advertising manager for Rosco Ltd. in order to take up a nursing career. Aliss Paterson starts her training in January at tho Palmerston Hospital. Until then, she is staying with Airs. J. Alelville, Marne Street, for two or three weeks, and then going to Christchurch to stay with her mother.
