AND SEE “AND SO TO BED” Tins amusing situations—tho sparkling dialogue—the colourful costumes—the attractive setting—will all combine to make “And So To Bed” tho second Repertory production for 1940, an unforgettable one. Tho largo cast of picked players has been working hard at this play for some time now under the direction of Miss Babette Rodgers. Most of us like to have a glimpse into the lives of the people who lived long ago—and pictures and plays make them live again—and this story which is an episode in the life of tho famous Samuel Pepys, is delightful. You’ll delight in his inconsistencies and prevarications—you’ll have sympathy for his wife whilo you still hope he’ll get out of his scrapes. In fact, you’ll have an evening of excellent entertainment. The wardrobe is also an important item in this play, and a committee, working under Mrs. Norman Nash, Is preparing

with much care a colourful array of garments which will delight tho eye. All the proceeds from “And So To Bed” aro in aid of the Red Cross Society, so hero is an opportunity for everyone to help a worthy cause, and have an evening of entertainment as well.
