Umutoi

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Bible Class Social On Wednesday evening members of the Umutoi Bible Class entertained Apiti mombers and friends at a social evening. Mr. W. Pratt opened proceedings alter which a sing-song was enjoyed with Miss Noelene Churcher at the piano. Rev. Ashworth acted as con duetor of games, tho music for which was supplied by Mrs. J. {Smith. Two* songs were reudered by Miss May Cheyne. Winners of the various competitions were:—Drawing, Miss Joy

Forbes; musical parcel, Margaret Smith; balloon race, Miss Betty Church* er and Mr. Monty Curtz. Miss M. Cheyne welcomed the visitors and thanked those who had assisted towards the evening’s success. Mr. W* Pratt, on behalf of the Apiti class, thanked Umutoi for the pleasant evening. Supper was enjoyed.
