As a result of the Girl Guides l Empire appeal, Lady Julius, State Commissioner in Sydney, last week presented to Lady Wake hurst a cheque for £933 18s sd, the gift of guides from various parts of New South Wales. By the appeal it is hoped to raise £20,000 to buy two aerial ambulances for this Royal Air Force and a motor-lifeboat.
