BETTER COAL SUPPLY FOR RAILWAYS

(By Telegraph—Pmss Association) WELLINGTON, May 22. The Minister of Railways, Mr D. G. Sullivan, announced that in view of the increased supplies of coal now being received from the Waikato mines and a definite assurance from the Minister of Mines that the increased supplies will be maintained, he has arranged that ordinary suburban Sunday services will b« run as from next Sunday. It will not be practicable, however. In the meantime to run additional special excursion trans, but these will be resumed as soon as the coal position justifies.
