Two Brigadiers In Casualty List

THE BRITISH LOSSES LONDON, May 21. The fourth War Office casualty list gives the names of 41 officers and 525 other ranks. It includes Brigadier the Hon. William Frazer (Lord Saltoun’s son) and Acting-Brigadier H. E. Smyth, of the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, both wounded; Lieutenant-Colonel T A. King-Salter, of the Rifle Brigade, the Home Army’s best shot in 1931, reported missing and believed taken prisonThe casualty list, according to a British Official Wireless message, gives the names of 158 officers and men died of wounds, wounded, missing, prisoners of war, and killed. The list also includes the names of 566 officers and men who died from natural causes. It is stated in well-informed quarters that this is lower than the normal Civilian mortality rate for the nation.
