GOVERNMENT “OBSTRUCTING THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE” Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, May 22. “That with all deference to the views expressed by the Government, this council is emphastically of the opinion that Parliament should be summoned immediately for the express purpose of furthering New Zealand's war effort," was a resolution unanimously passed by the Dannevirke County Council.
