Terrace End School

COMMITTEE MEETING Mr. W. B. Tennent was in the chair at the monthly meeting of the Terrace End School Committee on Tuesday evening. Also present were: Messrs. E. P. Wix, R. C. Donald, R. J. Andrew, J. Fyfe, K. G. Chamberlain and n. L. Cunninghame. It was decided to forward a letter to Mr. H. D. Milne thanking him for his services on the committee and also on the Dental Clinic Committee.

The headmaster (Mr. A. W. Thomp* son) was given permission to purchase three footballs and two basketballs for the school. Messrs. Tennent and Wix were appointed a visiting committee. Tho treasurer (Mr. Cunninghame) presented a report on tlio estimated expenditure for tho year. The headmaster reported that tho first term ended with an average roll number of 502 out of a roll of 540. The average roll number at tho Hospital class was 34. At the commencement of the new term 12 new pupils were enrolled.
