RED CROSS APPEAL IN FEILDING DISTRICT
Individual Donations COUNTRY CANVASS UNDER WAY Yesterday further individual donations to the Feilding and district fund of the Red Cross Appeal for £250,000 were received and with the country canvass now under way it is anticipated that before long the list will quickly swell. From all parts of the country reports have been received of efforts being taken to raise funds for this urgent and worthy purpose and locally committees of ladies are busy organising evenings to assist the cause. The executive committee of the Patriotic Society in Feilding will meet this evening to discuss the local organisation which is in train for the canvass of the town and the business community.
