The Nail Propaganda Minister, Dr. Goebbels, in a broadcast speech on the eve of Hitler’s birthday, said that Britain’s greatest mistake was the assumption that she was fighting Hitlerism, and not the German people. The nation, said Goebbels, was united in its devotion to Hitler, who was the incarnation of Germany's spirit. “We are unable to imagine that it could ever be otherwise In the future,” he declared.
