CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

HI From the Hub HU

DEAR COGS , aewjl MOB Here we are facing the greatest festival IIfHM ioP P *' of the year and I know all the members of the Big lW k I'amily are on tiptoes of excitement. Letters this i gi WL “ week have been full of good wishes which seem to “ jfl be permeating the Den and we return our greetings s«sS T i to you all in full measure with the hope that the ja ' k • Hew Year may bring you all that you desire. | f j j Our members have been doing well in examinations and you would notice particularly tbo achieve- II ments of ‘ Torget-Me-Not” (Ina Parlane). Well || done, everybody! We shall expect even greater things next year. i|| • ‘Autumn Leaves’ ’ I was sorry to miss you ana "Little Old Woman." Thank you ever so much for the dainty gift, which I could not resist taking a peep at even although it is more than a week to Christmas Day. Tho Uncles were taken by surprise to-day so did not have time to put on their thinking caps ana write you their usual Christmas letters but they have promised to make all preparation for the firsr page of the New Year. Wouldn’t it be line if we all made a pact to continue extending good wishes and happy greetings all the year instead of only during about one week in fifty-two? Just a word about the competitions. The stories were a little disappointing but I was better . pleased with the verse 3 sent in. I think the juniors , „ ' were more careful than the seniors in their Christ- ' - mas stories in the matter of spelling and neatness • and mast of the efforts were a little gloomy. However, X was very pleased with the number of entries and you must try again. E™* ™ “ I hope you will all have happy and interesting holidays and come back refreshed and ready for ClZgl another year’s work. The Uncles and all the Page Personalities join with me in the old, old wish that you may have * ’A Merry Christmas aud A Happy New Year.” All my love, m Your friend, THE HUB. NSM
