JOHNSONVILLE SALE Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Johnsonville sale as follows; “We offered an average yarding of bullocks and a small yarding of cows and heifers. There was no alteration in prices for prime heavy bullocks, while light and medium weight buliock3 were easier to the extent of 5s to 10s per head on those ruling last week. Prime cows met with a good sale with little alteration. Unfinished cows were down fully 10s to 15s per head. Small calves met with a good sale. No heavy wethers came forward, the yarding comprising chiefly medium weight sheep with a few light-weight wethers. All prime quality sheep sold readily with prices on a par with those ruling last week, while unlinished sheep were hard to sell. All classes of ewes met with a good sale with prices Od to Is per head down on last week. Extra prime heavy hoggets were firm on last week. There was a short yarding of spring lambs, with all weights meeting with a good sale.
