WHEAT PRICE RISES IN CHICAGO BOOM
(Received 14. 12.45 p.m.) CHICAGO. Dec. 15. Wheat sold at over a dollar to-day for the first time since October 1937. The price rose five cents on the crest of the biggest buying wave since the war. Closing prices were 4 to 4| cents up, heavy profit-taking cutting part of the gains. December wheat closed at one dollar 2 cents, the best price for two years.
