Gypsy’s Casualties 22

BELFAST BADLY DAMAGED Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 25. The casualties on the destroyer Gypsy are announced as 22 which are fewer than was feared. It is revealed that the cruiser Belfast was badly damaged off May Island while going to sea. The explosion rocked the cruiser. Tho complement of 800 were completely calm and moved swiftly to tho emergency stations. An accompanying cruiser stood by but the Belfast steamed back under her own

power and docked at Itosytk. Tho injured were taken to hospital.
