Marriage Ceremony of Survivor of Courageous
BANNS CALLED ON BOARD LONDON, Oct. 6. A survivor of the aircraft-carrier Courageous, Lieutenant C. B. Lamb, Fleet Air Arm, only son of Rev. A Lamb and Mrs. Lamb, of Somerton, Somerset, was married at Charlton All Saints’ Church, near Salisbury, to Miss Josephine Frances Elgar, daughter oi Mr. F. S. Elgar, architect, and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force. The bridegroom, who was formerly I lightweight champion of the Navy ami Air Force, lost all his belongings when the Courageous was sunk by a U-boat on Sunday, and was xnariied in full
