Gunfire and BoirMike Explosions R.A.F. DENIES KNOWLEDGE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Menday, 12.25 a.m. BERLIN, Oct. 15. Gunfire and bomblike explosiom north-east of the city broke out at 9.30 p.m. lasting for ten minutes and at 10.45 p.m. for 15 minutes. Searchlights raked the sky and the radio went off, but the siren was silent. It was announced officially at 1.25 a.m. that an unknown ’plane flew over so high that only the noise of the engines could be detected. London authoritatively reports that the R.A.F. was not involved in any raids on Berlin as cabled above, although the Berlin correspondents of the Danish newspapers declare a number of British ’planes were over the capital for two hours on Saturday evening flying at a great height from the direction of the military camp at Dobritz on the north-eastern outskirts of Berlin.
