The election of officers for th. ensuing year resulted as follow’s: Chair man, Mr. M. E. Perreau; deputy chair man, Air. G. F. Smith; secretary, Mr. H D Dawson; auditor, Air. T. V. Taylor committee, Messrs. Osborne, Christie Taylor, Smith, Dustin, Alacdonald, Ale Laughlan, Hornblow and Crotty. Way. and means of raising funds this year were discussed and it was decided to Inviti residents in the surrounding districts tc visit Foxton on Christmas Eve. Personal ■■ Air. Frank W. Vickerman, managinf director of N.Z. Woolpack and Textiles Ltd., has been appointed a member of th I Flax Plan Industrial Committee in lieu o Air. S. H. Maddern, who has resigned.
