MR WILLIAM SPRY The funeral of the late Willis, m Spry took place at the Whakatane Cemetery under the direction of the Whakatane Returned Soldiers’ Association. A firing part in charge of Lieut. Barclay, was in attendance, and Mr William Jarret sounded the Last Post A good muster of returned soldiers ac companied by tho president, Mr H. N McDonald, also a good muster of public Works employees followed tho cortege and a good number of the frionds of the late deceasod soldier attended and placed floral tributes on the grave.
