According to the newspapers, Japan’s concrete demands at the conference on the Tientsin dispute will include: The extradition of four men allegedly concerned in the murder (which was the initial cause of the dispute). The strict policing of unlawful elements in the British Concession. Search for anti-Japanese elements. Discharge of anti-Japanese officials. • Surrender of silver held by the Chinese banks in the Concession. Prohibition of the Chiang Kaishek dollar in tho Concession.
