U.A.O.D.

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING The usual fortnightly meeting of the Pahiatua U.A.O.D. No. 25 Lodge was held in the Masonic Hall on Tuesday, Sister J. Kirk, A.D., presided over a fair attendance. Prior to the business of the evening tho A.D. requested all members to stand in silence as a mark of respect to the late Bro. H. A. Bick, Odd Fellows' Lodge. The secretary was asked to forward a letter to Mrs. ©ick conveying tho lodge's sincere regret. Several small accounts were passed for payment and apologies from several officers and members were received.

Important business regarding the hospital schemo was discussed at length and authority was given to a delegate to act accordingly. Final arrangements were made for tho annual dance.
