Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 21. Tho anti-cyclono is commencing to move off the Dominion and a series of shallow depressions of the westerly t}-pe is advancing ever the South Tasman Sea’. Winds: Variable in direction, with south-westerly predominating in the North Island and between north-west and south-west iu tho South Island; force light at first, but freshening about and south of Cook Strait. Seas (N.Z. waters): Slight to moderate, but rising somewhat south of Cape Egmont and about Cook and Fovcaux Straits. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate southwest winds and moderate seas in the northern portion, freshening northwest to south-west winds in the southern portion, with rising seas. Weather: Fair to fine generally at first, becoming unsettled, however, in western and southern portions of the South Island, with occasional showers, later extending to most other districts, more especially those with a westerly aspect.
