Horticultural Society A committee meeting of the Foxton Horticultural Society was presided ovsr by Mrs. R. O. HornbTow. Prior to thr commencement of business the presiden’ made reference to the loss Mrs. K. J Murphy had sustained by the death or her mother, and a motion of sympathy was carried. Four new members were elected The spring show is to be held in th< Masonic Hall on September 19. A sub committee, comprising the president, Mrs Ogden, Miss Speirs and Mr. W. Nye, was ►ei up to peruse the schedule and appoint lodges and stewards.
