Fair and Colder Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 20. A weak anti-cyclone covers the Dominion but a depression of a westerly typo is approaching across tho south Tasman. Winds: Light to moderate, variable with south-westerly predominating in the North Island and north-westerly in the South Island, but a change to fresh south-westerlies probably advancing from the south during Friday. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough at first about Cook Strait, otherwise slight to moderate, rising later in the far south. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light variable winds, slight seas but a chang’d to strong south-westerlies advancing from the west. Weather: A few showers at first between Wellington and East Cape; conditions improving further and weather otherwise fair; showers, however, accompanying a south-westerly change with hail or snow probable in places.
