Boxing Contest To-night

Great interest is being taken in the welter-weight boxing contest between Johnny Foster, of Canada, and Arnold Kitt, of Hastings, at the Opera House, Palmerston North, to-night. In a workout at the Palmerston North gymnasium on Monday night Foster greatly impressed those who saw him in action, and reports from Hastings indicate that Kitt is at the very top of his form. FaV ons can therefore be assured of a

really stirring contest from gong to gong. With fr eof the very best Hastings amateurs matched with excellent local talent, the preliminaries are confidently expected to provide some of the best amateur contests ever witnessed in Palmerstou North.
