Inter-Bible Class Ping Pong
On Saturday evening the Feilding Presbyterian Bible Class engaged in their first ping pong match of the season with the Methodist Bible Class members, in >St. Paul’s Hall. The contest resulted in a win for the Presbyterian class by 60 games to 40, R. Mcfarland of this class being the only player undefeated throughout the evening, gaining the 10 possible wins. A. Donaldson was the Methodist team’s most successful player, registering nine wins. Detailed results of play are as follow:
Presbyterian Bible Class: R. McFarland, won 10, lost 0; J. McFarland, won 9, lost 1; B. McLeod, won 6, lost 4; J. Barlow, won 6, lost 4; Miss Betty Beazer, won 6, lost 4; R. Svendsen, won 6, lost 4; P. Miller, won 5, lost 5; B Nairn, won 5, lost 5; R. Hay, won 5, lost 5; Miss Betty Rosanoski, won 2, lost 8.
Methodist Bible Class: A. Donaldson, won 9, lost 1; K. Blavell, won 8, lost 2; B. Cobbe, won 8, lost 2; R. White, won 8, lost 2; J. Flavell, won 3, lost 7; Miss G. Edhouse, won 2, lost 8; Miss D. McNab, won 1, lost 9; O. Neil, won 1, lost 9;/1. McPhail, won 0, lost 10; T. Collier* won 0, lost 10.
