Higher Prices Likely At London Wool Sales
LONDON, July 9.
The wool sales, which open on Tuesday, should be extraordinarily interesting. A lively sale of crossbreds is expected. Supplies, though greater than last year, are not excessive, and prices are expected to be from 5 to 10 per cent, above those for May. Activity in France, Belgium and Holland, however, is nothing like as great as in England, and for this reason buyers from those countries are likely to be cautious.
